The sun’s hue is fragile sensitivity
that many don’t notice exists
until it is captured.
Now you can see me,
for I am the sun
and that same hue radiates beneath my freckled white skin
through my veins into the tips of my soul…
P.S. This is actually a picture of a full, orange moon. I loved it so much that I substituted it for the sun. I hope it’s not confusing!
Are you fragile?
Do you feel hyper-sensitive compared to those around you? I do too. I write to try to understand these feelings better. Through this process, I’ve learned that hyper-sensitive people are capable of things others are not. Such things include being able to easily detect other’s emotions, being able to feel someone else’s pain, and being able to keep an open-mind as a result. These are also characteristics of many introverts.
How do you deal with your sensitivity?
Leave me a reply in the comments and let me know what you do to stay sane in a world that may seem too harsh and/or stimulating at times.
