Why do I put on makeup? Why do I stay silent when I have things to say? Ultimately, the answer is fear. It can be really hard to overcome such fears…

In the fight to be unique and to be ourselves, we should try to use our emotions to propel us forward. After all, emotions are there to guide us and propel us into growth.
Every time it rains, it’s as if my body is finally able to calm down. It’s as if rain is the universe’s way of telling me I’m not as alone as I may feel.
Once I realized I was doing a terrible job of listening to and standing up for others, I realized it was because I wasn’t listening to or standing up for myself or my values either.
